About the event
Tevin organization is pleased to welcome you to this seminar, which is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance and understand women's economic rights in the region. These efforts began with the production of a research paper titled 'Enhancing Economic Rights and Gender Equality in Post-Conflict Syria's Constitution'. We now move towards analyzing the economic rights of women in Northeast Syria and coming up with recommendations that may help improve the reality of freedom and equality for women in the region.
Our goal for this seminar is to conduct an open discussion about the challenges women face in the workplace and economic life, and to exchange ideas and experiences to identify practical steps to enhance equality and achieve sustainable development.
1. What are the social barriers that women face in work?
2. Forms and reasons for discrimination against women in the workplace.
3. Do women receive their rightful inheritance?
4. How can the rights of divorced women in the field of finance and alimony be guaranteed?
Speaker: Darius Darwish, Program Director at Tevin and the author of the research.
We look forward to your active participation in the discussion, as every voice plays an important role in shaping a better future for women in Northeast Syria.
